Die Private Black Label-Reihe ist eine weitere hochklassige Filmreihe des Labels Private.
Beschreibung
Die Filme dieser Reihe sind meist Pornospielfilme mit einer Handlung. Anfangs war Pierre Woodman um die Reihe bemüht, konzentrierte sich aber bald auf andere Projekte (Private Gold-Reihe). John Millerman drehte danach die nachfolge Triologie von Tatiana, Uranus Experiment. Erst der Regiesseur Kovi brachte 2000 eine gewisse Konstante in die Reihe mit einigen sehr guten Filmen. Nach Kovi folgten einige renomierte Regiesseure die die Reihe weiterführten. Die Serie wurde aber 2007 eingestellt.

- Obwohl die Reihe bis 56 Nummeriert ist, sind es aber nur 47 Titel. Einige Nummern wurden entweder nie gedreht, oder sind verlegt worden.
- Die beiden Filme Private Black Label 54: Hi Speed Sex 2 und Private Black Label 55: Hi Speed Sex 3 sind in dieser Reihe vertreten, der erste Teil findet sich aber in der Private Gold-Reihe wieder (Nummer 87).
