Die Private Gold-Reihe ist eine hochklassige Filmreihe des Labels Private.
Beschreibung
Die Filme dieser Reihe sind alle samt Pornospielfilme mit einer Handlung. Insbesondere Pierre Woodman machte diese Reihe zu Anfangs sehr berühmt und beliebt mit seinen Mehrteilern. Es wird meist an exotischen Orten gedreht wie z.B. Karibik, Südafrika oder Ägypten. Der Erfolg dieser Filmreihe zeigt sich auch darin, dass für diese, 1995 gestartet, auch nach 18 Jahren immer noch neue Filme produziert werden. Einige sehr bekannte Filme sind in dieser Reihe enthalten und machten Mitte/Ende der Neunziger Private endgültig zu einem Branchenleader. Die Filme sind heute teilweise begehrte Klassiker. Als Woodman das Label Private 2001 verliess und für Hustler Video drehte, versuchten andere Regisseure in dessen Fussstapfen zu treten und machten ihre Sache recht gut, konnten aber nicht mehr an die alten Erfolge anknüpfen.
